Francesca Capin

My name is Francesca Capin, an award-winning Augmented Reality (AR) artist, speaker, Lens Studio educator in Mexico, and an official Snapchat partner. My expertise lies in interactive design, 3D modeling, animation, digital fashion, and functional design objects. Through these skills, I craft experimental, interactive, and incredibly enjoyable designs that come to life in immersive experiences.

I hold a degree in Interactive Design from Mexico's IBERO University, along with a MIT xPRO certificate in Virtual and Augmented Reality. I also possess certificates in Futuristic User Interface (FUI) from VFS and in Storytelling and Visual Concept from Ana Ramirez (PIXAR).

Starting my journey with Snapchat in 2021, I've become known for crafting engaging AR projects for brands like HBO, NBA, Spotify, Coca-Cola and so many more.

My creations draw inspiration from pop culture trends, bringing characters and events to life through immersive filters. With over 200 personalized AR experiences, I'm passionate about pushing the boundaries of AR and sharing its potential with others.

As a developer, my primary motivation is to elevate the physical world through fun and functional AR experiences. From 3D modeling to VFX, I combine technical prowess with creative vision, delivering top-quality results. I also aspire to share knowledge about this powerful technology, encouraging more individuals to join in creating incredible experiences.
